Two-Phase Orthodontic Treatment
Two-phase treatment is when a child receives orthodontic treatment BEFORE AND AFTER all of the permanent teeth have developed.
Although treatment in one phase is preferable and more economical, it is sometimes necessary to perform two-phase treatment if there are severe problems and when early intervention can either prevent or decrease the amount of future treatment.
Two-phase treatment is not used frequently in our office, but it is a treatment plan that Peach Orthodontics uses when beneficial to our patients.
